organization of experienced hobby breeders in the US and Canada
who are dedicated to the Golden Retriever breed in general and to the British style in particular.
Our Breeders are screened through our application process.
The BGNA Board represents the United States and Canada with over 200 cumulative years of experience.

Michele’s dedication to the breed spans 40 years. She has been a licensed AKC judge for 25 years; chaired the Golden Retriever Club of America’s Public Education Committee and served on the Judges Education Committee; and co-authored DWAA award-winning booklets about the breed. Michele has bred and owned versatile Golden Retrievers with championships and hunting titles; and Best in Show, Best in Specialty, Best in Sweepstakes, and High in Trial awards.

Karin is originally from Norway where she started in Golden Retrievers in 1970. Over the past 50 years she has actively bred, shown, trained and trialed her British-style Golden Retrievers in Canada . She has bred , owned and imported many influential sires in North America , several all-breed and Specialty Best in Show winners, Top Golden Retrievers in Canada, High in Trial obedience dogs and also numerous working service dogs .

Bruce's involvement with dogs has spanned more than thirty years. He and his wife have been active members of the Grey Bruce Kennel and Obedience Club, Golden Retriever Club of Canada, Golden Retriever Club of Greater Toronto, and Bruce is now a lifetime member of the Canadian Kennel Club.
In his words: "We beam with pride whether our dogs have just won a major show event, an obedience trial, or provided their owners with reasons to smile." Our goals are to produce beautiful, healthy and intelligent dogs for the present and future generations and we look forward to working with BGNA to guide and educate buyers. |
