Cindi's Bio
Our Family
We live in Frisco, Texas - just north of Dallas. We moved here from Nebraska in 2007. We feel so fortunate to have finally found a home with a large fenced yard and a pool. It is perfect for our family and allows our beloved goldens...to be goldens!
Our daughter finished up her final fellowship, specializing in liver transplant and GI in June of 2017. She married a wonderful man in 2014 who is a heart-failure cardiologist. At five, she stated she was going to be a doctor, asked for crutches and a doctor kit - and never looked back! We are very proud of her! In February of 2016, our first grandchild was born. Hazel Grace. And she is turning out to be so much like her mommy! In May of 2019 our second grandchild, Clover Wulf came into this world. We are beyond grateful!
Our son received his undergrad at UTD. He is at UNT currently (August 2020). He is a master's level math major and a teaching assistant. He plays electric guitar and worked in the math lab at the local community college for many years helping students prior to UNT. He is also a gaming wizard but mathematics is his true passion. NASA would be lucky to get him!
Our dogs are an important part of our family - and our lives. They entertain, inspire and love us unconditionally. We feel very grateful to have the opportunity to contribute to the future of the breed - if only in a small way.

Our "Kennel" and Goals
Below is a brief explanation behind why we chose "Wyndance" as our kennel name and the goals we strive for...

- First and foremost, we want to give credit to our start in the breed - PrairieWyn's Wynd Walker, CGC
- Second, Cindi has been training in dance (Ballroom, Latin, CW, Ballet, Tap an Jazz) off and on since childhood and appreciates beautiful movement. In humans, it is trained. In goldens, it is bred - through correct structure.
- Third, we make this statement: "Dedicated to Promote and Perfect Beautiful Movement, Intelligence and Sound Temperament". While no dog or puppy is "perfect", we know that a breeder must make a commitment to the betterment of the breed. To look at the whole dog/puppy, not just certain aspects. We feel this can only be achieved by being honest, involved and open-minded.
You are welcome to contact us for help - whether you get a puppy from us or not!
There is obviously meaning for us in the name we chose. It is an important distinction and we are pleased that it is, and will be, the affix on all the puppies that we breed.
Credits / Mentors
It is important to us, to give special thanks to the countless mentors who have shared their knowledge and time over the years. And to each and every golden enthusiast who has shared their friendship, experience, concerns, joys and sorrows so openly with me for so many wonderful years - I thank you.
I truly learn something new with each passing day that we live and work with these beautiful, intelligent dogs - and from the breeders, friends we have made, and families we have come to know - through our involvement in the world of golden retrievers! I feel truly blessed. Again, thank you!

A Favorite of Ours...
"He is my other eyes that can see above the clouds; my other ears that hear above the winds. He is the part of me that can reach out into the sea. He has told me a thousand times over that I am his reason for being; by the way he rests against my leg; by the way he thumps his tail at my smallest smile; by the way he shows his hurt when I leave without taking him.
When I am wrong, he is delighted to forgive. When I am angry, he clowns to make me smile. When I am happy, he is joy unbounded. When I am a fool, he ignores it.
Without him, I am only another man. With him, I am all-powerful. He is loyalty itself. He has taught me the meaning of devotion. With him, I know a secret comfort and a private peace. He has brought me understanding where before I was ignorant. His head on my knee can heal my human hurts. His presence by my side is protection against my fears of dark and unknown things.
He has promised to wait for me... whenever... wherever - in case I need him. And I expect I will - as I always have. He is my dog."
