Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Always with Us In Spirit...

Kodi
PrairieWyn's Wynd Walker CGC - "Kodi"
6/5/2003 - 10/13/2015

Kodi was my heart dog. My once-in-a-lifetime dog.

He was smart and loved to work so much, he made ME look good in the obedience ring.  He was kind and perceptive. He always knew when someone was hurting and would put his muzzle down in your lap to comfort you. Kodi loved to swim. He was a big boy but barely disturbed the water as he cruised around. He loved to lay in the front yard when we sat on the porch and observe the children playing - eagerly going to the end of the yard to get their attention. Kodi saw all people and all creatures as friends.

Over the years, he helped raise all the puppies we purchased and bred, never complaining about time and attention being taken away from him. Car rides were a favorite; especially to our local Race Trac where we went for frozen yogurt (fro yo). They loved him and never charged me for his.

And true to the very end, he wanted just to please. To do right. To do good. Early that morning, he struggled to make it out of my bedroom where he slept - and then collapsed on the living room floor. He was fine just the night before but I knew it was happening from the look in his eyes.

Kodi died peacefully in my arms at the age of 12 years and 4 months. Run free sweet boy. I will miss you every day but I know...
The Heart does go on.

Amazing Grace from The Blue Village - "Gracie"
9/10/2004 - 5/25/2017

Grace was such a sweet girl. Always found her way next to you and put her paw on your leg letting you know she wanted some loving.

She was our first English girl and I flew to Europe to get her.

She was a great mother to her babies and, very un-golden like, never got into trouble!

She will be missed by all who loved her.

Baldwin of The Hellacious Acres - "Harry"
12/20/2006 - 10/30/2018

Harry was a big-boned, beautiful, goofy guy that just wanted to play, counter surf and swim!

He was confident to the extreme (full of himself lol) and loved to strut in the show ring!

He sired seven beautiful litters and was neutered in 2013. Harry enjoyed a fun and happy retirement until he passed just before his 12th birthday in the presence of his loving family.

Ramchaine Mythical - "Ballet"
11/25/2009 - 3/16/2020
Ballet was a very sweet and kind girl.

When I saw her Dam, Jeree (Eng.Sh.Ch Ramchaine Essential JW) I knew these were the lines and structure we wanted and were thrilled when Charmaine of Ramchaine Goldens in The Netherlands agreed to let us have pick female!!

Unfortunately we could not clear heart after three tries with a vet cardiologist so we had her spayed. We never got pups from her but she lived out the rest of her life as a dearly beloved family member. Run free dear girl...

We Endorse & Support...
"...In addition to taking pleasure in being around kids, Larry is also great with other dogs, interacting equally well with both large and small breeds. He is such an amazing dog; we are looking forward to many, many years of companionship with him. He was definitely worth the wait!"
~ Jamie and Lisa Walter, Jackson, Wyoming
"Barney  just finished his first puppy class, and has mastered 'sit' and 'down', and is really doing well on 'leave it'. He's also learning to 'heel' and 'go play' when he walks with Jack and Maggie...We're SO glad it worked out for us to get him. We look forward to a lot more fun ahead, and staying connected."
~ John, Tim, Maggie, Jack & Barney, Dallas, TX
